Looking After Your Hands During Lockdown

Your hands can make a strong first impression, you want them to be soft, smooth, and healthy as possible.

Due to Covid-19 we now must wash our hands so much more, taking care of them may seem easy, but you want to make sure that you are using the right products to wash and moisturise your hands.

Use a gentle hand wash you do not want to strip and dry the skin too much, use a good moisturiser for hands. After applying your hand moisturiser remember to massage around the nails and into the cuticles. Try not to use a product that is too greasy not only will you get it everywhere, but you will also end up wiping or washing it off.

Nail Tips:

If your nails have gone a little yellow, you can soak them in lemon juice or white vinegar with a little water this will help to remove the yellow staining.

When filing your nails try using an emery board there are a lot more gently on the nails.

To condition hands and nails apply moisturiser all over hands, put on disposable gloves we all have them now, then another pair of warm gloves and keep on for at least 1 hour. After the hour massage any excess cream into your hand.
